Be nice.

Recovery is a piece of cake! Yum! Guess who's back in the game?? Me! It's been 1 week since my surgery and I'm better than ever. Let me tell you how it went.

Mami came to pick me up at the end of the day after my operation. She listened to the vet tech and got my medication and then they brought me out. She says that I walked on my own and acted pretty normal (but maybe just a little mad at her). The vet tech helped lift me into the car and off we went back home. It wasn't until we got home that she saw how loopey I really was. She said I didn't want to get our of the car at all and when I did I wandered around bumping into things and couldn't quite get comfortable for a couple of hours. I had a couple of little pee pee accidents too (that makes me embarrassed because I am Trained - with a capital T). Mami wasn't upset though. She also said that I threw up. Only once, but it wasn't pretty. Mami and papi did their best to help me get comfortable and petted me and loved on me, but I was really pathetic.

Miraculously by the next morning I was almost as good as new. And over the next few day I have made a 125% come back! Mami and papi think that I may have more energy now than I even did before! Aside from this crazy cone that they sometimes make me wear around my neck, I'm a happy 'lil puppy girl.

PS: The cone is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Mami and papi agree. I can't even reach my incision site to lick it without the cone, so what's the point??

Now promise me 1 thing please. Before you look at the following photos and giggle and call me mean names, remember that I'm just a little puppy girl, doing what her mami and papi think is best.

Promise?

Pinky swear?

I mean it...............no giggles.

Yes, that means you too papi!

This is me in the cone.

My head feels like an giant ice cream cone.

Maybe if I give mami my pathetic puppy eyes she'll share a couple licks of her ice cream with me (like she has been known to do)!

  2. Saii, I'm so sorry to hear about your sad loss, but I feel certain that one day we will again meet up with our lost little friends where we will all happily bounce around from cloud to cloud!

Mia and I hope you can find happiness in your memories and when you are ready, you can give a new little pup a happy home.
